This policy explains what PromptVault collects, why, and what control you have over it.
Who we are
PromptVault is operated by Titus Herbert, who acts as the data controller for your personal information. Contact: promptvault@striide.me.
What we collect
Account data: your email address, authentication identifier from Google/Apple/Microsoft, and your marketing opt-in choice.
Usage data: the prompts you create with the AI builder, prompts you save, folders you create, and your preferred AI tool and work role.
Technical data: basic log information such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used to keep the service secure.
How we use it
To create and secure your account, authenticate you, and deliver the prompt library and AI prompt builder (legal basis: contract performance).
To send transactional email such as sign-up confirmation (legal basis: contract performance).
To send product updates and promotions only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time (legal basis: consent).
To improve the service and prevent fraud (legal basis: legitimate interests).
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
— Service providers who help us run PromptVault: hosting, database, authentication, email delivery, and the AI provider that processes prompt text you submit to the builder.
— Paddle, our Merchant of Record, which processes payments, subscriptions, tax, invoicing and related customer service for the sale of PromptVault Pro.
— Professional advisers and authorities where required by law.
Retention and your rights
We keep account data for as long as your account exists. You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data at any time.
Deleting your account removes your profile and stored custom prompts.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and secure authentication providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password where applicable.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage strictly to keep you signed in and to store your custom prompts. We do not use advertising trackers.
Children
PromptVault is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially we will update this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
